Our story

Fruit, memory, magic.

Obele is a bold new brand born from memory, movement and the deep flavours of Kurdish tradition. Inspired by a suitcase once filled with childhood joy, Obele now carries a mission far greater: to honour the heritage of Shaqlawa and Rawanduz, one bite at a time.

Every detail reflects the spirit of connection — from the name, which echoes beauty across cultures, to the patterns and colours drawn from the land that raised it. Obele is more than a snack. It's a story. A bridge between past and present.

Our pattern starts from a single shape inspired by traditional Iraqi kilim carpets, stacked and expanded into its final form.
